Unlike standard outdoor landscape grasses that rely on heavy sand ballast to stay pinned down, Trainer’s Choice is a 100% non-infill turf. This means its stability, safety, and longevity depend entirely on the subfloor preparation and adhesive bonding method used during installation. The underlying concrete slab must be fully cured, level, and free of dust, oils, or curing compounds. Any cracks or low spots are patched with a polymer-modified cement leveling compound. Installers use a premium, solvent-free outdoor/indoor turf adhesive. The glue is spread using a 1/16" x 1/16" x 1/16" square-notched trowel directly onto the concrete. Once the turf is laid into the wet adhesive, the entire surface is immediately rolled with a 75 lb to 100 lb weighted linoleum roller. This ensures 100% wet transfer between the 5mm foam cushion and the floor, locking it down flat.

Under standard operating conditions, the primary slit-film polyethylene and texturized nylon fibers are guaranteed not to experience a factory-related split or backing separation exceeding a 50% reduction in pile thickness. The policy acts as a 100% replacement warranty during the first full year, after which the cost mitigation becomes prorated over the remaining years of the 5-year cycle.
