Built with integrated thatch for added body and a resilient Mini-Diamond yarn structure, it mimics the appearance of natural grass while offering a highly stable surface. It is heavily utilized for commercial and municipal playground builds, pet facilities, commercial landscapes, and short-game golf setups. Engineered as a premier playground safety surface. It is completely ADA/ABA compliant, meaning wheelchairs roll smoothly across it, and crutches or canes will not sink into the turf fibers. Frequently specified for commercial dog daycares, veterinary kennels, and residential pet runs. Its 1 1/4” pile height makes cleaning up solid pet waste exceptionally easy compared to deeper, shaggier turf styles.

Engineered specifically to meet stringent public safety standards over shock pads. Unlike natural wood mulch or shredded rubber nuggets, it provides a uniform surface where sharp debris or buried glass cannot hide.

Whether deployed for an ADA-accessible playground, a golf fringe, or a high-traffic pet yard, a professional installation relies on the following phased method. Technicians excavate the native soil to a depth of 3 to 4 inches to make room for the structural aggregate base. The dirt subgrade is graded with a slight 1% to 2% slope away from permanent building structures to prevent groundwater pooling. A heavy-duty, commercial-grade geotextile weed barrier is pinned down across the excavated dirt to block weed growth while letting water drain freely. Installers spread 2 to 3 inches of coarse crushed stone (such as 3/4-inch road base or crushed limestone) for rapid drainage and structural stability. A 1-inch top layer of finer stone dust (like decomposed granite or chat) is applied to fill small gaps and create a perfectly smooth, uniform layout surface.

This material guarantee specifically protects the 87 oz. playground and landscape turf against structural breakdown and premature wear. Covered at 100% for the first full year following the manufacturing shipment date. Guaranteed not to exhibit sun-bleaching, severe color fading, or chemical breakdown from ozone exposure exceeding 50% of its original state over the 8-year lifespan. The multi-color polyethylene and ChargeGuard polypropylene fibers are guaranteed against a tensile tearing strength loss greater than 50%. The dense 1 1/4-inch fescue blades are guaranteed not to shrink or mat down by more than 50% from standard wear and tear, provided proper infill depths are maintained.
