Installation & Care Notes
Installing Synthetic Turf International (STI) NP45-Black involves two primary methods depending on whether you are building a dust-free indoor golf simulator or a heavy-duty outdoor conditioning space. Because it features a tight 3/8-inch pile height and a standard 15-foot wide roll structure, precise base leveling and seam alignment are critical to achieving a flawless finish. Ensure the concrete or wooden plywood floor is swept clean, free of moisture, and completely level. Lay down high-density interlocking EVA foam gym tiles (typically 1-inch thick) across the entire footprint. Place your hitting mat or hitting strip exactly where you want it. Trace its perimeter onto the foam tiles with a chalk line and cut out that section with a utility knife. This leaves a recessed slot where the hitting mat sits directly on the bare concrete, putting it perfectly level with the surrounding turf. Unroll the 15-foot wide NP45-Black over the foam base. Let it sit flat for at least 2 to 4 hours (ideally 24 hours) to relax any factory wrinkles or curl from shipping.
