Lay 3 to 4 inches of crushed road base aggregate (such as Class 2 or ¾-inch minus crushed limestone). Wet down the stone and compact it thoroughly in 2-inch stages. Add a 1-inch leveling layer of fine decomposed granite (DG) or stone dust. Use a laser level and screed bars to get this surface completely flat. Compact the DG until it mimics a concrete pad. Roll out the 15-foot wide Bocce Pro sheets across the court. Let the turf sit flat in the direct sun for 2 to 3 hours to release manufacturing wrinkles and acclimate before fastening.
