Installation & Care Notes
Installing Global Syn-Turf Cashmere 40 involves a straightforward, multi-step process. Excavate 3–4 inches of soil, lay and compact 2.5 inches of drain rock, and top with 1.5 inches of decomposed granite. Lay the turf under the sun, stretch it tight with a carpet kicker, and secure it with 5–6 inch nails and staples. Remove 3 to 4 inches of existing soil and vegetation from your designated area. Layer 2.5 inches of crushed drain rock. Moisten and compact it thoroughly. Add 1.5 inches of decomposed granite or sand over the drain rock, level it, and compact it to create a smooth, permeable foundation.
