Artificial Turf Infill
Products
Artificial turf safety pads (known as shock pads) are cushion layers placed beneath synthetic grass to absorb impact, reduce injuries, and protect joints. They are widely used in sports fields, playgrounds, and schools to meet critical fall height and safety attenuation standards. Usually 8mm to 35mm, with 10mm being standard for soccer and football turf underlays. Recycled rubber granules, polyethylene foam, expanded polypropylene (EPP), and polyurethane bonded foam. Often supplied in large rolls or interlocking panels (e.g., standard density around 50kg/m³ for heavy play support). Perforated designs allow rapid rainwater filtration through the entire sub-base system.
