Installing Envirofill Artificial Turf Infill replaces raw sand or rubber with rounded, acrylic-coated silica sand infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection. This specialized infill is highly favored for pet runs, playgrounds, and athletic fields because it resists liquid absorption, prevents odors, and will not compact over time.According to official USGreentech Envirofill Installation Guidelines, the product must be deployed only after the turf is fully stretched and secured, and it must be applied in dry conditions to prevent the rounded grains from bridging or trapping moisture during installation. Ensure the artificial turf and the Envirofill bags are 100% dry. Applying this coated infill to damp turf causes the grains to stick to the grass blades rather than dropping to the base. Double-check that all turf edges are mechanically fastened to your subbase, panels, or nailer boards. Run a mechanical power broom or stiff-bristled turf broom backward against the turf grain to pull the compressed grass blades fully vertical.
